The Whale’s Tale

Producer for The Whale’s Tale - a new play by Edie Edmundson for families with puppetry, storytelling and original music. It asks: what can whales tell us about our relationship to the ocean? What can we do to protect it? Our initial phase of research and development in 2022 was funded by Arts Council England and supported by Hermitage River Projects and Ocean Conservation Trust.

Our next research and development phase in 23/24 was funded by Arts Council England and supported by Ocean Conservation Trust, Whale and Dolphin Conservation, Plymouth University Marine Institute, Little Angel Theatre and University of Plymouth Arts Institute.

In Autumn 2024 we are funded by Arts Council England and Whale and Dolphin Conservation to finish creating the show, and to deliver workshops and performances at the National Marine Aquarium and The House, University of Plymouth.
